Due to recent events, Guildmaster Varrus has indicated that he is no longer able or capable of continuing with his duties as Guild Core Guildmaster. (Which is a good thing, that means I don't have to have him shot for incompetence.)
Therefore, and until such time as a permanent replacement is found, Guildmaster Stoat has been promoted to Guild Core Guildmaster. This position will be in addition to his ... other duties ... in charge of special weapons acquisition.
I'm sure that we will all give Guildmaster Stoat our full support in his endeavors. I trust him to do a good job with this, and I'm sure that those nasty rumors that he happens to be infected and a member of the Wild will not influence your interactions with him in any way, shape, or form.
