Right, first off I want to make it clear I'm not mad or anything by this, just covering my ass.
On January 2012 I purchased an LN Dreadnought. After careful searching and going though various US military ship naming systems I came up with an accurate and realistic name for it.
On January 11th of the same year the ship was officially registered as the LNS-California on the Seconday Fleet registration forms and named as such ingame.
Now it recently came to my attention (Yesterday) that within the 41st Navy a LN Carrier was registered with the exact same name, 41st|LNS-California, the day before (20th March 2012)
What, if anything can I do to ensure that:
A. I don't get mixed up in any sanctions that he may/may not get.
(Very similiar names brings the possibility of admin errors or even player reporting errors)
B. He doesn't report me for "Stealing his name" and get me sanctioned for it.
(Even if its just the loss of the name. Its not exactly a quick proccess making sure the names nolonger active and in fitting with the RP)
I don't exactly mind him having the same name as me, hell theres not many realistic LN cap names free anymore. I just don't want to be on the recieveing end of any potential flak thats kicked up in his wake. Or, as some people have assumed already, that he is me and I've just joined the 41st.
