So I was going through some old Star Wars RP books the other day (don't judge) and I had an idea. Lets suppose I want to RP a barge that has been stranded in a desolate system for unknown reasons (think Dead Space). So I send out a long-range distress call to a lucky individual, whereupon they accept and arrive in the system.

Using the anonymous feature of the messaging system, I could relay game-master messages to the other player, thus fleshing out the approach, boarding, and exploring aboard my abandoned barge.

Ideally, I would use my own d20 to set the difficulty for certain tasks, such as opening jammed doors, detecting story-specific details and/or threats, and maybe even small-arms combat aboard the ship. Additionally, I would have character ability sheets for different faction characters that would give me an idea of how skilled the other player should be at certain tasks. (For example, a Junker would receive a +5 to rolls on tasks requiring mechanical skills, while an LSF pilot would receive a +5 to rolls on tasks requiring observational prowess).

I could use the current /dice command for this, however, it would be much easier if the game had a /d20 command for the full spectrum of possibilities from 1 to 20. So I would like to formally request a d20 user command feature, if the devs agree.

Anyway, I hope this give the move RP-minded players some additional ideas for in-depth interactions.

P.S. I'm really not that nerdy.

/d20 - nice idea, I'm in.

However, the scenario you suggest, I doubt a *random* player would go along with this, it's something that I think only a few people would be up for such in-depth RP...

Well, if you look for a dice that has 20 sides that's already in game.

/dice <insert number of possible outcomes> such as "/dice 20" will give you numbers 1-20

Smells like sex in here. But at least the question was answered.
