Ughhhhhh where to start......

Last night, booted up flserver and blah blah blah........so i can get an admin ship and pew pew without any hassles of.....everything. So, got logged in, got my proper ship and such, beamed back to manhatten and undocked with some hfuel, of course......

So, i used my cloak, and it was pure greatness. Kudos to the devs! But, ended up getting on the nasty side of a cruiser, and got shot out of the air. Respawned back at manhatten, and undocked, so i can commence my nonsense. CRASH!!!! Checked rep, was neutral still, so reconnected and proceded to undock again.........crash again. UGHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!

NEW PLAYER!!!!! Nice shiny new starflier......undock and crash again.

Heres where i believe I screwed up tho.......

I deleted both characters via flserver, and restarted it. NOW, I have a totally different issue.......the lan server isnt showing up! Ive done did every single trick in the book that i can think of, and NOTHINGGGGGGG

SOOOOOOOOO.............help get my lan server back so i can pew pew?

Windows XP, no IPv6, all proper ports forwarded, windows firewall disabled, no other firewalls installed, router firewall disabled, and im stillllllll stumped

Soooooooooooo weird.....

I reinstalled ipv6, and unchecked it on my list......service shows uo, with a hex ip. After setting certain settings, im able to connect and such again!!

Just curious what caused it to stop working in the first place. Tcp/ip problem perhaps? Seeing how I Installed ipv6 to get it to even just show up.

No clue, but my problem is sorta solved!

You can only install Ipv6 If your Internet provider that supports.

I know. Just a bit stumped now why having ipv6 installed but disabled is actually letting my server show, compared to not having it......and having it activated. I never ran into a problem like this and spent a day figuring out wtf. The main thing that stumped me was the server crashing, then just not showing up. No changes at all made to the system, yet it still happened

Oke try reset you're modem,
Of go to start in windows and go to systemworkset and take system recovery and take a date when it still working.

You can fix the crash issue by executing the rehash command from the console. At least it worked for me.
