The motion for server PvP rules has been made, seconded, and now it passes with a unanimous vote (nobody said "Nay" so i'm taking it as unanimous).
Wolf, Igiss; before some "concerned citizen" comes in whining about how the rules arn't fair, I would suggest we use these as is. If you want to take your time and talk 'em over, please, by all means take your time.
***DA RULES, AS IS***
1) NO PvP in New York. NO exceptions.
2) Cap ships (Gunboats, Gunships, Cruisers, Destroyers, and Battleships) may NOT use SB/NB durring PvP fights.
3) F1-ing is off-limmits durring PvP.
4) If you die three times, remove yourself from the fight. You may not continue the fight, even if it moves to annother system.
5) Once a PvP fight is over, there should be a cool-down time for all involved. I reccomend everyone not fight eachother for at least half an hour, if not a full one.
6) Victor is the last team standing, by process of elimination or retreat. (For elimination, see rule #4)
7) Players higher then level 30 cannot attack players at or below level 29, with the only exception being the lower attacks you first.

May I make a suggestion, they have to leave the system if they are elminated.
Whether or not that's added, I'm in favor. I just think it would remove a bit of confusion.
And as for the SYSTEM CAMPING problem that seems to be going on... Just ignore it! If they want to sit on a planet for a few hours, that's their loss. Its just a game people.
I'm done. Sorry for any inconviences I may have caused people.
And congratulations Kane and Nightfall in getting rules set up where I failed twice.

About that elimanation rule. It should only apply for preplanned battles. As someone will just wait for all but one person to leave fly in and shoot him with his 3 allies and then declare the system theirs. Which wouldn't be fair...
System fights are pre-planned. Anything else is just a skirmish (Although, these skirmishes have been fairly large... almost full battles) and thus don't apply to "system controll" battles.
As for leaving the system... I don't think so. They can still hang around on the sidelines and watch. However, as with most things, this is an honnor system; if you have no honnor, then the other's can't really stop you form breaking the rules right then. They'll have to bring it to the Forums (ONE person can do this!) so Igiss or Wolf can administer propper punishments.
Or excessive, depending on how they feel.

And yes, preplanned battles are generally RP or system control. These rules would not apply to a just go in and kill... Which could easily still last all night. Though, the results of these battles SHOULD NOT be posted on the forums.

I'm in favour of this. Any posting concerning who kicked whos butt is boasting. Though
the overall outcome could be posted, if a change in system or faction status happened

only this is a tad unclear - what do you mean by "ny posting concerning who kicked whos butt" - is it as posting the outcome of the battle? or the details about who killed who?
