Faction Allegiances

If you're part of 3 factions; two factions which own a system and one that doesn't.

What if the faction that doesn't own a system decides to purchase a system and is successful, do you have to leave one of the clans?

That rule is nearly universally considered to be a relic. I wouldn't worry about it.

Yea, one of our OPG members.. he's in something like 10 clans... really wouldn't worry about it though.

On a related note, what about the rule that says, the leader of a faction may not be in any other factions? Is that null and void too?

They mean the character that leads the clan. Apparently there were problems with a single character being in multiple clans...
