Word from the Hiroshima system is that theres been a security breach from within the Matsue Naval base. Inside informants have stated that a high security prisoner has escaped, no other information is known at this time as to whom this prisoner may have been. The Kusari Naval forces have refused to make any comments on the situation, other then the situation is under control and increased security around the jump holes is in place at this time.
Kana Shigenoi was a well known trader to the Matsue base, he has brought many frequent shipments of much needed fuel to the military base and a very familiar face in its pristine bar, often seen there while awaiting his cargo to be transfered.
As he sat at the bar, he was approached by a strange man, strange in the sense that something seemed odd about him but nothing that you could difinitively put your finger on. The man asked him if it was his freighter that was currently being unloaded in the dry dock and Kana quickly replied "yes, shes a beauty is she not". The strange man replied "she will do", Kana replied "she will do ? whats that mean ?" The strange man begun to spin a tale of an important cargo he needed to be transported. When Kana inquired to the nature of the cargo an its destination, the strange man simply said "I can pay you well, may I inspect your vessel". A sensation of ease passed through Kana's mind "yes, sure" he replied.
As the two men entered the frieghter, Kana asked "So, exactly what is this cargo you need transported, where to and how much are you offering to pay ?" The strange man turned to him slowly and his eyes started to glow with an intense light and without effort of his lips he responded " I am the cargo, the price is your life and my destination is to find the others..."
