Hello, I have no doubt this is the wrong place to make this post but as I can not locate the correct place this will have to do for now.
I am playing on Vista and I just installed the game, when I click to play it it shows the pic of discovery freelancer exiles or something, but the problem is once it gets to the menu, the text goes INSANE and flys all over the place. That is my problem, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE tell me how to fix it.

I bet you have hudshift installed from older 4.86 version and updated now to the last update? I find strange that you have this bug on fresh install-because it happens only when you already have added hudshift manually and update to the latest version:
There are two ways to fix it- add again hudshift or just backup your accounts and reinstall from the 4.86 first version, the auto updater would add hud shift as integrated part of the latest update and you can adjust it as you want. http://discoverygc.com/forums/showthread...900&page=5

Follow the steps there to reinstall- a bit longer way but safer.
