Nomad Technology has always been a very unknown factor to the Human race, its ships, weaponry, and intelligence far greater to any human. But there is an upside, were learning. A very brilliant man named Dr. Alexander Zakartist, a 56 year old Order Scientist has discovered the abilities to adapt to Nomad Organic weaponry to use for their own. How risky it may be to attempt to use such unknown and dangerous technology created by an Alien race, luckily Dr. Zakartist has found a way to control it. Here he tells his story.

It was months ago, months and months; it may have even been a year if my memory serves me right. I was working on Planet Toledo when the alarm in our main base went off. Yet another Nomad attack was made on our homeword, attempting to kill the last of our resistance. Order Military operatives were sent out quickly and wiped out the wing with the help of the Battleship Isis in orbit.

I watched from the viewing screens planetside as the Order ships returned from repairs, when a something came up on the screen. An actual Nomad ship was left drifting in space, just sitting there, not moving, not firing, as if it were dead. The cameras zoomed in closer to the ship; a very large gap was made in the center of the ship, most likely from the Isis turrets. The military pilots in space were debating what to do with it, destroy it or bring it to the planet for study, and then a brilliant idea came to mind.

I grabbed the nearest comm unit and requested for the ship to be contained and brought down to my laboratory. It took hours to properly contain the ship itself, taking every precaution in the case if it was dead or not. Luckily it was, whatever creature that was attached to its inner core before had been blasted from the ship. Yet the rest of the ship remained in tact.

Myself and my team of experts studied the craft for many weeks, learning every aspect of the ship and its weaponry. We all had a crazy idea in our minds, almost insane, to maybe learn to fly these ships ourselves, to use it against the Nomands themselves! But again, these were just fantasies, there were no chances man would ever be able to fly and control a Nomad ship itself, however, its weaponry was a different story.

I had been watching how Nomads fight in space combats for quite some time, their weaponry is very much stronger then our own. Our team wished for the same power, for the same advantage. Though we had no idea how the actual weaponry itself worked. The weapons on the Nomad fighter itself were entirely organic, unhuman, alien. But that wasnt going to stop us, we kept at work.

After months of research and experimenting, we have managed to successfully remove four weapons from the Nomad ship specimen. How they worked though we had no idea, until a very amusing fluke happened. One of our scientists began to get frustrated with the gun itself while it was attached to an Anubis power core and poked what turned out to be a very sensitive spot on the gun causing it to fire, almost shooting his head off! It was a good laugh for sure, but also a major break through in our research. After doing tests on the other weapons as well, the same sensitive spot on the organic weapon itself caused it to fire.

After yet more months of research and building, we built an outer shell around the weapon itself, with a trigger to push against the sensitive spot on the organic turret to fire it at our will, just like any other of our weapons. And after the outshell was complete, it was ready for testing on a Nephthys Very Heavy Fighter. It was amazing how little power it used on our Anubis power cores, it was almost to good to be true. Turns out it was.
During our testing on the Nephthys Very Heavy Fighter, we were disappointed with the firing damage the weapon was dealing out. It seems our powercores werent responding to the organics weapons needs, resulting in losing hull and shield damage against enemy opponents. It was a disappointment yes, but not a complete failure. The original nomad weaponry, also what we call A Nomad Laser, was still much stronger then what we have adapted to, yet what we have can still be used as a complete success as its hull and shield damage statistics were still quite high.

After the tests were complete, the weapon was ready for military use. Our problem though, we only had the four weapons that were salvaged off the single Nomad fighter. We had no ways of creating more as it was impossible to recreate the organic texture the Nomad weapon has, our cloning machines and procedures were a complete failure, there wasnt anyway to recreate the weapon itself. Our only possibility to receive more of our newly named Nomad Energy Blasters and Cannons would be to salvage more from the Nomad fighters themselves.

We spoke with a one of the Order Military strategic combat experts about our discovery and how we would need the assistance in requiring more. We pointed out of the weak spot on the Nomad vessel itself, and how we would require more of the weapons in order to suit the Orders new offense attacks. He agreed with our plans and decided to put it to the test.

New automated firing schematics were uploaded in to the Isis weapon mainframe to aim and fire on the same sensitive point on the next Nomad attack to gain access to the organic weaponry again, while our installations planetside created more of the weapon outer shells.

We waited just little over a week for the next Nomad attack to happen; twelve Nomad fighters along with two gunboats started an engagement on our homeworld again. The gunboats were taken care of quickly, destroying them completely. After they were removed, the new data was activated in the Isis main frame and it fired. Five of the ships were unfortunately completely destroyed and were unable to salvage, yet seven of the ships were. It took a little over two days to completely contain the ships and return them planetside. Military operatives were set up around the ships themselves for defensive purposes as our scientist team worked, and this time our production was much faster then before. It took only a little over three hours to fully strip a Nomad vessel of its weapons, and adding the outer shell was quick. The weapons were afterwards placed on the Order heavy fighters and were yet again another complete success, as well as in combat!

Our team was proud of our new discovery, now of course a new production group on Planet Toledo has been set, its sole purpose to salvage and contain these weapons and use them as our own against the horrid Nomad race. Oh what a surprise it will be for them, Im sure.
