Hey there, I'm in a need of tutorial which explains you how to use effects and to shade in Autodesk 3DS MAX and Photoshop. I recently started to work with art again and I'm kinda rusty. All help is apreciated. Thanks!

I've learned most of it using tutorials found over google and youtube, just typed in needed specific stuff.
I can't give ya links, since it was quite some time ago, and I forgot where exactly I got them, but I know I've learned various things from several different totorials, not just from one.
Try same thing with photoshop.
Though my knowledge about shading in 3DS max isn't big, it's limited in use for Freelancer models, but it's more then enough for making signatures and all kinds of graphics that involve freelancer ships.
You can see in my signature.
