I got a few questions about AI and using of AI ID:

should I be in the player's AI faction?

what IFF should I got if I wanna play with AI ID?

can AI player trade?

have AI some restrictions about docking somewhere (e.g. with cruisers in House space)?

I got a few questions about AI and using of AI ID:

only if you want to. you are free to roam around as yourself, a member of a group of casual friends, an unofficial faction or a member of an official faction - if there is one anyway.

what IFF should I got if I wanna play with AI ID?
since there is no AI IFF, anything generic works best - or no IFF at all if you can manage that. - but "freelancer" looks good for most situations

can AI player trade?
i believe so, they have some restrictions in terms of where they can trade - and their maximum cargolimit though. in other words - an AI won t be a serious trader comparable with a house cooperation.

have AI some restrictions about docking somewhere (e.g. with cruisers in House space)?
i do believe they must not go where there are man-made jumpgates - but i m too lazy to check it atm. not sure if the ID makes a difference between a drone or a cruiser though.

You can dock anywhere that your rep allows in a cruiser or drone (or whatever gunboat or smaller that you're flying). You'll have to deal with the inRP laws of the houses against capital class vessels though.

Your ID allows you to RP with and engage pirates and terrorists in systems without any jumpgates.

Check the AI ID.

If you check AI ID description, that say that: Primary territory is Sirius. Otherwise - Can actively hunt pirates and terrorists in systems that do not contain a jumpgate but cannot do so in systems that do contain a jumpgate - - - I think this is only about hunting unlawfuls but not about exploring/trading....I hope

You can be indie if you want to.

Freelancer IFF is most common. you can have any ''human'' IFF, but remember - AI from Gammu isnt working for humans or being built by humans. they may help them however. you can RP as AI with any other ID as well - like take BHG Core ID and RP as robot that was created by Core and programmed to hunt Nomads.

AI can trade. rule-wise at least. I dont think its much sense in AI hauling Ore from Rheinland to Bretonia, but logic is way out of Disco.

AI dont have any restrictions. remember that some/most factions wong like Cruiser in their space. Gunboat is best solution, because its not considered as true Warship by most of people. or take SHF Spatial - its strong and can hurt gunboat even. beware of SNACs though


also friendly remind - dont go allied with BHG Core and claiming they is your masters. we seen that types of AIs on Cruisers in Gamma pewing Sairs on Core side. be better then just another PvP Drone with no robotic stuff and really human-free Artificial Intelligence
