AI cruiser, what is the current situation with its allowance in other houses

Just got attacked by someone because I brought a capital ship into liberty space, But here's the problem I have with his dictation.

AI Is a unique and separate faction, not affiliated with any other house, owning no space, not even in diplomatic situations.

AI cruiser Is (according to the wiki) A freighter which can use Cruiser weps and shields.

So..?

It is, for all intents and purposes, a cruiser. And a pretty decent one at that.

Its not a wise idea to fly it around in anything resembling house space. If you want to play AI, get a core ship and fly that.

Skittlez, Echo is correct. While the wiki is hosted here, it is NOT considered to be official as far as server administration is concerned simply because the darn thing can be edited by too many people. Hosting does not equal authority.

If you look at FLStat, what you'll find is that NPC capital ships are considered by the game engine to be capital ships. But PLAYER cap ships are considered by the game engine to be freighters. (Actually, players only get two kinds of ships, fighters and freighters - so if it's a snub the game engine considers it a fighter, and if it's bigger the game engine considers it a freighter.) That's just part of the game mechanics.

Also note that if you specifically go to the AI Cruiser PAGE (http://discoverygc.com/wiki/AI_Cruiser) on the wiki, it says, Cruiser class. It's a cap warsihp, and thus prohibited by house laws from entering house space. (Not a server rule violation, so you're fine that way - but the house police or navy will kill you.)

Oh hey, you're the guy who claimed that his Cruiser is a freighter, talked with lol and smilies in local, then docked on Newark after I engaged you on my LNS, then came back and claimed that it's not a pvp death cause two parties would have to fight to make it a pvp encounter.
