I don't see that there would be any issue with your proposal as long as the participants are not wanted in the House of Liberty or your race involves restricted territory. Speaking of, would you provide the systems you intend your participants to trek across and any major landmarks they'd pass? We want to make sure that no one ends up making a wrong turn that would lead to our neutralizing them over.

A message from me to inform you that the Bretonian government has received your request. Let us know more details closer to the time and we'll make sure it all checks out.
As long as you do not involved those unwelcome in Bretonian space or include the restricted zones of Sprague and the far east of Newcastle in your route, the BPA won't have any problem with it. Perhaps some of the younger officers could get involved even.
If it is the sort of race with weaponry, make sure they are turned down a little to simply disable competing ships.
As the representatives from Liberty and Bretonia, the Kusari Ministry of Extraplanetary Transportation and Office of the Kusari State Police will require route information from you as soon as possible. Once received, we will then review and respond in regards to approval. Depending on the systems you are planning on traversing, we may need to seek approval from the area operators, which can take time, so bear this in mind.
Which, of course, begs the question of when this race is scheduled to occur?
We will leave it to you to ensure your competitors' IFF transponders are calibrated properly, and, if desired, a request can be filed to have the Office of the State Police assign one or two officers to patrol the race route.

I ask you both to please keep these locations classified from all except your highest officials on a need to know basis. Weaponry will be allowed, but the lawful competitors will be weary of other craft not involved in the race.
