Reminds me of a time a while back when a friend of mine, despite my constantly trying to remind him how terrible of an idea it was, tried to make a faction that was basically space furries -- wolves, raptors, etc.

It was received poorly by the community, and for good reason. He eventually changed his faction to something a bit more fitting.

I believe the same should go for this "MLP". If they have an inRP faction that fits in with disco lore and name their ships after ponies, that's fine. But from what I've seen they don't RP.

I suppose you could bridle your enthusiasm, saddle up some ships, and ride off into the sunset hunting these guys, spurring yourselves along with assorted commentary, but that might be a bit much, so rein it in. At least they're not Wonder Years fans also, so they're not looking for Whinny Cooper ... Maybe that'll Trigger something, looking for Silver over there, Hi Yo! - I heard she's a Black Beauty although as a military veteran, perhaps she has a long face and looks like a War Horse. She has a friend, Flicka, too, if you're into that sort of thing ...
