Gas Miners Guild retaliates against Corsairs

During the early hours of the Corsair fleet housed around Planet Cere. Security Forces of the Gas Miners Guild launched a successful bombing raid of the Tripoli Shipyard. Guild officials state this is an act of revenge for the recent attack of guild depots located in the Sigma-13 mining operations. Tensions with the corsairs have increased due to this recent attack. The guild's executive officer has claimed he has showed these criminals the stretching arm of the guild. As the attack began 3 corsair vessels were destroyed. Two of the fleets anti fighter arms were heavily damaged due to a diversion for the bombers to escape after the attack. This photo was released by Security Forces to the public.



Is this act by the guild a demonstration of firepower? or is it an act of war? Nothing has been decided or made public by guild officials. The executive officer has not commented on such questions. One thing is for sure in the eyes of all civilians. Another war similar to the conflict with Rheinland will be costly, and perhaps a war the guild cannot afford. The 4 houses are watching as tensions rise in the southern areas of Sirius in tbe borderworlds.
