--Atlan was born on the planet of Manhttan in the New York system. He really never got to know his parents well since they were traders who went from sector to sector looking for profit. He sometimes went with them on their trips, but only when they were in Liberty. This way he got to know the sector very well. When his parents died he was about 20, had recently finished his studies on Electronics and Computers, and hadn't seen them for over 12 years. Then one day a man in a suit approached him and told him his parents had been killed by pirates. Atlan got about 100 000 credits from their insurance. Due to his excellent knowledge of secret jumpholes, pirate bases and pretty much all Liberty, thanks to a few illegal trades his parents had taken him on, he decided to join the Bounty Hunters Guild. --Starting out merely as a novice in an old Piranha ship he worked his way up and became one of the elite hunters. He assumed "Talon" as his alias due to his excellent skills in piloting a Raven's Talon. He also assumed it as his last name since he never learned his real one. Atlan's name quickly became well known by Pirates, due to his fearsome piloting skills as well as his pure hate for all Pirate scum. --On one assignment in one of Texas' dust clouds, he was to take out a certain well-known Outcast by the alias of Dagger. Once there he quickly killed the pirate's guards and confronted the pirate himself. Dagger was piloting a stolen Bounty Hunter gunboat. Talon was expecting something like this so he had mounted torpedoes. Unfortunately when he almost had the pirate dead his launcher overheated and exploded, disabling the ship's shields. He was a sitting duck now... --... Suddenly out of nowhere a group of 3 Raven's Claw ships appeared out of nowhere and instantly finished off Dagger's ship. After exchanging greetings the unknown group's leader told Atlan that they were the ones who posted the bounty, to see if anyone would be brave enough to try on the certain death mission. They...they were the 522'nd Nova Squadron. --Impressed by his skill and courage they invited Talon to join them. Seeing it as a just cause and a even bigger opportunity to face pirates, he accepted and joined the ranks of the 522'nd's Nova Squadron.
