Play it well.

Walk out up 1300 bucks...at least that's what I've done. (sun)

You like limit or no-limit?

I don't mind playing $1-$2. It's fairly easy to sit down with $200 and double your stack in an hour. The only issue is when you get at a table with donkeys that play that 3 7 suited crap because it's suited (even after a nice opening raise) and they end up hitting their flush on the river when by all that's right they never should have been in the hand in the first place.

I typically leave when I'm either down 2 buy-ins if the cards are going bad, or after 8 hours if they aren't, simply because after that length of time it's hard to keep concentrating at a cash game table.

Tournaments are a different story - I can hang in there since they have regular breaks and unless something drastically goes wrong, I'll usually finish in the money or better.

Most I've taken in cash games was about $1500, best tourney finish was a $12,000 first place finish. I'm still only at the semi-professional level, darn it.

Everybody knows the real trick is being the casino's owner.
