Tenacity's post about "Organized crime" suddenly made me nostalgic for TSRP.

The Specialists is a mod of Half-Life (1), a first/third person shooter. So er, think of a deathmatch style game except the map is basically a city, complete with its own mall, hospital, stores (that can be robbed), police station, and houses, properties, and businesses players can buy.. some other maps (a person favorite of mine) had government government building as well, several villas, apartments, and a hotel. It was great game, UNLIMITED number of RP opportunities, and probably the best of my online-RP experiences.. and I was just wondering..

Has anyone else played it?

I had it on my old Computer. I loved it, my favorite mod.
Its a fun game, lots of options and the ability to do stunts such as dives, flips, etc.

But I dont remember large maps like a entire city.
The only ones I remember was the Lobby as it was my favorite as well as a Mansion style map.

I remember the name of the map now, it was San Marino.. great fun.

While I'd definitely say that the quality of roleplay is better on Discovery, TSRP has always been the most fun (and addictive, the reason why I stopped). If it were possible, I'd love to play with some of the people in this community.. if only..

@Cam - yeah, it's still around, you can probably still find plenty of RP servers. Be warned though, downloading all the necessary skins/models/maps/whatnot when you first try to connect will take a while.
