We have heard about the chaos in the omicrons. The steps taken are a logical progression, we will admit. However, our research is such that we require a large number of remains of the agressive creatures. This is due to our research being based on the harnessing of power and generation, we find that only ten tends to be...somewhat too little for a proper experiment.

We therefore ask to be exempt from the cargo limit for these specemins, because of this. Should we reach any breakthroughs, we would of course share them, though this research takes careful time and application.

We also will not be passing these on to other parties, they shall be used ship-board only and any remains unused shall be disposed of properly.

Our apologies. We were unaware our ship name was that unknown. Very well, we shall fill in what you wish. We are the zoner research ship Anemone, an aquilion class refit.

As for who i am, well. I am the controller for the ship. It is my job to handle the external communications and logistics as the ship moves from place to place. I am often called Mirana, a nickname of sorts they have given me.

As for our research, as was mentioned, we focus on power generation and how to harness that power. In essense, alternate power sources. It is no secret that the supply of fuel available is of a finite nature. Eventually, it will run out. Our research is meant to get a head start on finding alternates. While yes, it will be quite a few centuries before that happens, an independant fuel supply could be quite useful economically. These creatures have been noted to use a rather different method of propulsion, one unrelated to turbines. We wish to unlock this method for use in our own ships, affordably, and more importantly, safely. We will not be releasing anything unless it is throughouly tested to be safe for human use.

As for the group we represent, well, we do not represent any larger group. We are a collection of like minded individuals who wish to research our goal in peace. The reason we use a carrier is to deliberatly not put any settlements at risk. All of our sensitive experiments are done out in deep space as a safeguard.

However, your renewer request lacks number of remains you are in need for conducting said research. Any additional data such as your ussual operational area, groups or individuals you ussualy work for will increase chances of your success.

We understand. I have been given permission by our head researcher to disclose any and all relevent data.

Our usual grounds are the deep space areas off of baffin, omega 49, and the occasional foray trawling for new experiemental resourses, usually in the omicron systems. Due to the conflicts recently we have not been there in some time, but We are not so arrogant as to assume to barge in and all to be...as some put it..."fine and dandy". We make it a point to stay out of house space unless no other option is available, for obvious reasons.

As for individuals We work with, there are few. We try to keep to ourselves due to the hazzardous nature of our research. We are sure you understand the need for this, however should our experiments show promise, we would of course be willing to work with those of your group.

As for the number of remains needed. Our head researcher has impressed upon me the need for a large quantity, however since he did not specifiy i must go on emperical data. Therefore We would ask for an initial figure of eighty, (80), in order to have enough for our uses. We are however, willing to lower this number, if we can get our hands on higher quality specemins. It seems the higher quality ones have a higher response rate to preliminary testing. All specemins will be kept under full quarantine lockdown outside of the testing area. We are well aware the risk they pose, and will take every precaution.

We are willing to allow you and even sell fighter class Nomad remains.

Our current offer is 20k credits / unit, obtainable only from Omicron Mu starsystem. Should you decide to visit our space and purchase entire set of 80 remains you required, total price will be 1.6 million credits - quite cheap considering current worth of Sirian credit. Otherwise you have to hunt down these abominations yourself which involves some risk.

We are willing to accept this offer. Our head researcher has instructed me to agree to these terms, but wishes it known it may be required at a later date for the rarer specemins to be used. Our research so far shows that they respond better, but the ones offered will provide a good baseline for further study into this field, and are very agreeable for our current threshhold.

As an aside, I have sent you an encrypted channel key for which you may use to contact us at any time, should we be off the normal communication arrays. If there are coordinates you can send us for a jump zone, please do so. We are equipped with a drive that can get us there safely, though returning could be problematic.


The head researcher further wishes me to mention that the price offered is in fact very reasonable due to the effort involved. I have been ordered to begin preparations for the transit.
