Yeah, here's the deal. Currently I have a Creative speaker system, nothing too fancy, two fair quality speakers and a damn good subwoofer.

Something like this, but only with two speakers instead of five. The idea is that I recently came across my old speakerboxes, so I am trying to figure out how to hook them up to my office PC. I bought 20+ meters of audio cable to prevent any static, now I just need to figure out how do I hook up these.

The way the current speakers are hooked up is this:

Now I have 4 other 6W speakers I would like to place on the upper corners of the office. Question is, how do I hook them up? I have never done this before, so perhaps someone can point this out. Also, no, I do not need surround sound, I just need to have sound come out of them 8|

Not a tech guru, but I know a *little* about electronics, so I'll give this a shot.

First, I need INFORMATION, which will help me be a lot closer to right than wrong.

You said you have a a CREATIVE sound system. Good picture of it in the OP, but it doesn't tell me what sort it is, as in the number/name whatever.

It's a Creative ... what?

I have a similar setup, mine is a Altec Lansing, model BXR1121.

Plug that into Gooogle and you come up with all sorts of things about. I haven't looked yet, but I reckon there will be a circuit diagram in there somewhere.

So yeah, I need the model number of your speakers and we'll go from there.

*goes to see just what info he can get on his speaker system, I have a couple of nice speakers that could hook into the existing setup with a bit of work....

A possibly very ordinary signature coming soon.

If those extra speakers are the ones with the exposed wire at the end, you need a tuner to plug those into it.

Then find some sort of adapter to plus your current speakers into the tuner, then plug the tuner into the PC.

You may find an old tuner at the goodwill or thrift store of your country if you're lucky.

Yeah, looking good, but didn't you think these are dangerous for your ears and also looking heavy for a office. Mostly these woofers are used in home theater. You should place relaxed sound speakers in your office, or adjust it in ceiling, it looks pretty.

Well, I am not about to put them to full force, right?
