USFORO – we don’t want to believe, but we have to…

They are cowering something up. And no, not cloaking device we all know to be preposterous, nor are they concealing jumpdrives that too are in the realm of science fiction. My fellow citizens of Sirius, the governments are meddling with aliens. Aliens that are very much alive, unlike the Daam K’Vosh species.

USFORO (click here for proper pronunciation) –The Unknown Space Faring Object Research Organisation has been active for over 20 years, with steadily growing membership community. We are a non-profit organisation with only one goal. To thoroughly and scientifically research any UNSFO sighting there is. We have successfully solved many cases, including the infamous Freeport 2 abductions. With the ever increasing numbers of sightings new members are always welcome. To commemorate twenty-first anniversary a great gathering took place in Purple Conference Hall on Manhattan. With over 37 members from all over Sirius (indeed, many couldn’t come for the nature of their work didn’t allow them to) Johnny M. had the opportunity to interview some of the longest standing members, including the founder, Bill O’Wut.

J: first off, it is an absolute honour to be talking to someone credited for founding this marvellous organisation.

O’Wut: (nonverbal gruntle of mild discomfort)

J: Perhaps there is one thing everyone is wondering about- what made you a believer?

O’ Wut: Well, I’m still not a 100% believer. (laughter) I never believe in anything at first sight. I realise that we’re short on time, so to answer your question…it was a sighting of an unusual purple blob near one of the tradelanes in Sigma 13. I was on the night shift as a radio operator on an Albatross class transport. I still have the pictures…

J: Fascinating, I’ve thought radio operators didn’t have a window on Albatrosses…

O’Wut: That is generally so, however the one I was on had a rather unusual cockpit layout.

J: I have to say that the photos are something rarely seen, such quality!

Tell, how do you see the future of USFORO?

O’Wut: Simple. We will prove that the governments know about aliens and then everyone will have to accept the fascinating, albeit a bit unnerving fact that we’re not alone.

J: Thank you.


J: Doctor Von Unteroberammergau, the greatest authority on alien physiology, could you, for the newer members explain various types of aliens that have been sighted?

Von Unteroberammergau: There are two distinct types. The space faring one, with its distinct shape of a deformed cigar with protrusions and the common, bipedal one we call purples. Space faring type, probably a ship for purples is called space jelly.
