The screen flickers to life, showing a man in naval battle uniform, clearly a relic of his past life. He stands before the camera, his hands clasped behind his back. He takes a deep breath, and opens his mouth to begin speaking...

Zoner Alliance, whomever currently holds your highest rank at this moment in time. I am Councilman Joseph Wolf of the Solar Runners. Now, whilst this is strange, with the recent conflict just finished as far as Runner involvement is concerned, i ask you listen closely. I am here to end the conflict, as far as all involved are concerned. So you can go back to living with those you call family, to fly alongside those whom you would call brother, or sister, and so the Order forces can concentrate their time one again on the Nomad menace. To my understanding of the Transmissions i have been granted access, to collect data before approaching you, is that many would ask you give up your bases that "protect" the jump holes, in return for a total cease fire of all involved parties. The general reply i have managed to work out is that you worry this will not be the end to the war that people tell you it will be.

Before i go on, i ask you at least answer these suspicions and rumours, and to assure you once more i am here to help, i am actually one of the council that voted against a war movement. I have my own reasons for voting against it, even if i don't agree with your own actions, but i voted against it and i stand by that vote. I hope you can answer my suspicions as far as is possible, and that a resolution can be found.

He sits up, listening to the reply. He ponders, wondering if they would hear him out, but decides that to at least say it would not hurt. At this point, he opens the transmission fully to Golanski, and Overwatch to play witness of what goes on between Golanski, Wolf and Tri Udent, so that the proposal can be enforced in such a situation

Tri Udent, I feared you may not hear me out, but you have gotten me wrong. I do not want your bases, and whilst I would like them gone and to remind you that 74 was safe before your arrival, and dangerous after it, that is not the purpose of the transmission.

No, I am here to act as mediator, and to propose something which I have already gained agreeance from Grand Admiral Golanski of the Order to put into effect. My proposal is that the war ends, the platforms stay away from the holes and stay neutral, perhaps even disabled if you would go that far, and that in the event of any of these problems between the two sides happen again, the Council of the Solar Runners acts as a mediator, a "court of law", for want of a better term. For example, and this is only an example, nomad remains are found on a station under your control, instead of gearing up for war, Golanski will come to us, and we will settle this with evidence from both sides, another example, Order vessels shoot down one of your transports, you speak with me, I will call Golanski up, and the agent in question, and a court proceeding will occur. I should also hope Golanski will pull out from 74 immediately upon acceptance of this proposal.

I have opened the channel to him, so he may formally declare his acceptance, and to announce the removal of his forces. I hope that you will also agree to these terms, as I would not wish to be in a position such as this if I where you, and would jump at this opportunity.

Now I can understand why you may be wary of this, but I hope you accept this.

Well as for mediation i can agree, as for being our court of law...i really dont see your standing in this.

You are not in the Alliance so cant really act as our court of law. Next you still hold prisoners of war from the Alliance and you participated in the attacks on ourselves, so as far as were concerned you are not neutral.

As for mediation, then ill say this....we will ask for afew simple things.

All Order and Phoenix forces withdraw from O-74 forthwith and declare their crusade a defeat and hand over Lividia Shipyard into Alliance care. As they are unable to manage an effective defence of their own station within O-74, we cannot see them doing so of the Shipyard either.

Mr. Udent,

To begin, I cannot assume to speak for Phoenix and will advise you to discuss with them if you have a problem with their administration, but I will also share my thoughts that perhaps the alliance is not fit to administrate either.

Before you take me the wrong way, I am not interested in this petty war for power, as you have just made clear to me, but the Runners as a whole took part because your own Alliance vessels shot at our carrier, the Avant. This enraged many of the Councilmen, but I voted against a fight. Please do remember that. As for a court of law, this applies not only to you, but Order as well, as far as acts against your respective groups go.

The "Prisoners of war" you mention, I do remember that memo. If you so wish, I could see to their release, if you decline completely, they will rot in our holding cells.

Not neutral? You don't realise how wrong you are. I am the most neutral of the Runners, with the exception of perhaps our "leader", the most influential of our family. I am probably going to be the most neutral person that comes to you. Golanski won't be without my proposal, I'm sure he will hunt you across the stars, Mr Burton of the Phoenix won't be when you tell him your wishes to administrate Livadia. The Council of Elders, from their move against you, certainly won't after making their move on you. The AI won't be after your actions against them, they don't exactly forget things like we do. I'm sure you get my point here, that many will contact you to tell you what "scum you are", but I have contacted you to ask that you step down and agree to the proposition I have made, Golanski has, I'm sure you could, as you are so keen to tell everyone how much better you are. This is your chance to prove it, to all of Omicrons...

As I said before, "Court of Law" was not the right term, but the best term to fit the explanation. Remember, I was the councilman to give you a chance, I was the one to vote against moving against you, I am the one that comes to you now, with the chance to prove to all that you truly just wish to be the defenders of your home, not warmongering fools who act against anyone that says a bad word like a child throwing a fit because you don't nessacerily like it, as many currently view you. This is your chance, to leave it shows all you do not care about the people that you claim to defend, but just gaining as much power as you possibly can, again, a view that many share.

I hope you think properly over this, because I am the closest you will get to ending this war, as none would give you that chance right now.
