May I point you in this direction? As far as I know joining the K'hara is the best option for a Nomad. I think.

I assume you are trying for either an Nomad Indie ID, or a Nomad Trial ID?

In order to get the Nomad ID, it is given to you after you use the command

/restart Nomad

After that, you buy your ship and transfer over your ID to keep it on the ship after the purchase.

If you are going for a Nomad Trial ID, there is a base in the "Unknown System" adjacent to the Kansas system, which has a base called "The Shrine". You can buy the ID from the equipment shop there.

Sorry for not being an admin (As the topic seemed to be directed to them) I am fairly knowledgeable about this subject though.

So, to clarify, do you already have in your possession a Nomad ship? If so, it should have a Nomad ID on it already. Otherwise, how did you get such a ship without restarting /nomad?

To add to what was said above, if you plan on flying any larger ships, you will need the Khara ID, which can only be acquired by being recruited by them. Only snubs and gunboats can be used with the regular Nomad ID.

my ship has no ID...it did when i bought it an when i tried to buy guns its gone..an i cant get another 1..i fly super far an found this place to get a khara ID an says i cant buy it cause i dont have correct ID..which i have none...

Make sure you transfer your ID when you buy a new ship, because the ID is not transfered automatically.
