So I've got a ship. The ship in question is quite large, and quite damaged. Kastille was supposed to sort this out but she's drunk under a bus somewhere.

Looks behind himself.

I'm actually on the ship in question right now. A lot of stuff is missing, mainly hull armour. There's also the problem of the controls being changed to some weird configuration. A lot of automated parts.

Raises an eyebrow.

So my point is, I'd like your help. I can pay however much is needed, I would just like to get this baby up and running again.

Buon giorno, Captain.
As you may well know, the Empire has many and myriad strict regulations on the export of Corsair technology, techniques, and procedures (hereafter TTP).
Since any and all repairs and or upgrades are assumed to make use of Corsair TTP's, any work done by Corsair technicians falls under the aegis of the Corsair Export Liscensing Standards (CELS)
Even if you have qualified for any of our numerous TTP's in the past, any repair or upgrade work is to be considered a new item, which requires a new license, and a new application.
Therefore, I must ask you to fill out an CELS license request form and submit it, either through electronic application to the Council to be put on a two month waiting list, or in person to my office on Crete, at the Brotherhood Bar for immediate consideration.
For your convenience, a copy of Form LR-3623 has been attached.
And while It is certainly possible to acquire Corsair technology without approval from the Council, doing so would earn you the right to be hunted throughout the Edge and Beyond by the might of a Imperii and her vast legions of hardened killers.
Basically, you wouldn't download a car.

If you have answered Yes to any of the questions in Section 1, please skip this agreement and assign your consent that the information provided above is factually true to the best of your knowledge with a digital signature at the bottom of this form.

I, the undersigned, agree that, in order to keep track of and responsibility for, ships and weaponry under loan, lease, or sale from the Empire to a non-citizen of the Empire and a non-member of any of the Empire's current diplomatic and military allies, any Significant Military Equipment, including but not limited to, all ships and weaponry produced solely by the Corsair Empire, shall have their installation or acquisition subject to the following conditions:
A) All weaponry provided by the Empire shall have an always-on locator installed in a tamper-proof manner inside the main power coupling.
a) modifying or tampering with this locator shall be considered and prosecuted by the Empire as theft of military equipment.
B) All ships provided by the Empire shall possess the following custom features:
a) an always-on locator installed in a tamper-proof manner inside the reactor coolant system.
b) an always-on IFF beacon that marks the ship to Corsair IFF systems as having approval under CELS.
c) an always-on communications tap, installed in a tamper-proof manner inside both the main transcieving array and the main communications screen.
C) Any other requested items shall be subject to whatever limitations the Empire wishes to apply.
