Black Widow proudly presents:

BATTLESHIP FEST 2013

A new event not seen before in the history of Discovery, a showcase to the world of your Battleship Might!! This competition will be an all battleship PVP event with much to play for. There can only be 1 Winner who takes all! Losers get nothing!

So enter only if you think you are good enough to pit cannon to cannon, turret to turret against the servers best.


How it works:

There are 32 Slots to fill for the competition, divided in to two "skill" categories. Battleships of each skill category will initiate in heats of 3 battles per pair, until consecutive heats are completed and we are left with 1 Winner of Each Category that will engage in a Final, the winner of whom will take all and the looser nothing!

Skill Category I:

"Kiting" Class, those capital ships that fight using a kiting style enter here.

Skill Category II:

"Charging" Class, those capital ships that fight using a charging style enter here.


Conditions:

All entrants must pay a fee of 30,000,000 to the Event Bank prior to placement, these fees will go to towards the final prize of the competition. Any battleship may enter, including carriers.

All battleships that apply to fight in a specific Skill Category I or II must stick to the confines of that skill category, i.e. if you apply to be in the charging group then you cannot use kiting tactics for the duration of the competition.


Restrictions:

There are no restrictions on weapon combos, weapon groups or other things except Armour: all entrants will use the Universal Armour Upgrade MK VIII, this is to give all participants a fair chance with no one having a monopoly on armour numbers unless you use a Heavy Battleship.


Prize:

2 Billion Credits to the last ship standing, 1 Billion collected from entrance fees and 1 Billion of my personal cash. To be given to a third party judge, who will hold the winnings in escrow until a Victor is decided.

All fights will have a panel of three judges, who will deliberate on all fights and their word is final!
