Now before you start, I'm not posting to attack this guy. I followed the sandwich rule and I've decided just to see what you guys think of this, and even to see if you've dealt with a similar kind of thing before on the server.

Mainly I just want to see if the rules in Liberty about cloaks and Gallic civilian ships are still as I have always understood them. Are cloaks now legal in Liberty like they once weren't, and are Gallic Civilian ships unrestricted in Liberty (or in any other house for that matter).

So is this Bounty Hunter clown just a troll or have I missed rule changes?

Screenies of the conversation are attached to this post.

Cloak:

Quote:II. Ship-board Technology.

Pursuant to providing the utmost freedom and defensive capability to the citizenry of Liberty, the use of Cloaking Technology for law-abiding entitities(private and corporate) is hereby approved. Misuse of this technology for illegal purposes, i.e. piracy, fleeing a lawful order, or engaging in combat against the Forces of Liberty, is a crime. Citizens or groups found to be doing such will have a warrant for their arrest issued and their docking privileges revoked pending resolution of the matter.

Gallic ships:

Quote:Additionally, all Transport-class vessels of Gallic origin are not permitted with the House of Liberty, except when crewed by and flown under the banner of the Council, or the Unione Corse cartel identified by the [UC] tag.

Thanks for this, I couldn't seem to find the Laws post.

So Gallic Transports are restricted, but not Fighters and Bombers?

ctrl+f'ing through the thread by using "gallic" didn't show anything else to me relevant to your question, I think. There's a reason why I linked the thread for you, so I don't have to search through it in detail myself.Wink

Only GRN and Brigand ships are illegal. All Gallic transports are illegal unless it's a Council ship (faction or indie), or [UC] faction only.

There was a sig here, once.
