Ok, so This started about an hour ago, I tried to log onto the server, and i get this message at the character selection screen....
Please Wait, the selected operation is taking longer than expected...
SO i waited and after 30 seconds it timed out and i got an empty character screen, After trying multiple times I changed to my other 2 accounts and had no problems, logged on just fine with them.
So i went back to the first, still the same problem, So i re-installed FL, and that did nothing, so I re-installed Discovery, nothing, I restarted my comp, nothing.
So since the character list was empty, i tried to make a character, and after getting another....
Please Wait, the selected operation is taking longer than expected...
I got booted back to the main menu.
Anyone have any thoughts?

The first part I've seen often (the "Taking too much time" message) but I always got into my account...

Angel ... I get that message at least once a week at the moment, on both of my
accounts. When I have finally managed to get on, the longest wait being around half
an hour, Ive asked if anyone has had any problems in game. The answer has been
pretty much that everyone has been suffering from really bad lag at the time ....
Sorry to hear you have lost chars ... I hope this can be resolved.
3 accounts on one PC .. Is that possible.

Angel i had exactly the same problem by the sounds of it.
Wolf and Igiss could not figure it out for me and they had to remove all my chars on that user and i got compensation for it but it was really annoying.
I'm am sorry that you have lost some of your chars :(
I've been mildly miffed by one-shot weapons since their implementation, oh so long ago. I remember the days when fights were a matter of who could aim better, rather than who could aim a single shot. - Virus

Kiggles, I never removed them. If Igiss did, this is the first i heard of it.
