"Good evening, people of Liberty, Erica Trumann here, tonight we bring you news that has the citizens of the communities surrounding Combined Base Edwards, on Los Angeles, in a state of near panic..."

The reporter pauses as the camera pans away from her, a dull roar could be heard as the camera showed what appeared to be three Grizzly-class freighters above a military base in the distance that looked to be a cross between an airfield and a shipyard.

"We're not sure on all the details just yet.."

The reporter cut in, camera focusing back on her nervous-looking face.

"But over the past forty-eight hours we've received reports from the community indicating that several hundred Marines have had their leave-time cancelled and have been ordered to return to Edwards for what pur-"

The reporter's voice was drowned out by a loud roar and a gust of wind, causing the cameraman to immediately point the view up into the air, showing the bottomside of a Libertonian Gunship less than a hundred feet above the pair of reporters. In the next moment, the ship was gone, angled upward, following a nearly identical course to that of the Grizzly ships from earlier.

After a moment of static and then silence, the female reporter reappeared in front of the camera, brushing her hair away from her face, looking flustered, sighing loudly and shaking her head.

"Look people, we don't know a whole lot right now, really...but what we do know is that many of the ships we've seen departing from this base, have either moved supplies or troops to the Yukon or....Carrier Group Anchorage, the Flagship Battlegroup of the Navy's First Fleet".

She nods to the cameraman, who pans the camera out to reveal at least two dozen more transports of various class lifting off from concrete pads all over the military base, fighter escorts already airborne, circling around before disappearing above the clouds.

" It's safe to assume that a major operation is about to take place in this sector, and we all know that the Gallic Military has yet to push this far, so our best guess is that our Brave Naval Forces are now preparing for an offensive operation...I...we'll keep you posted as this story progresses, and hopefully we find out more soon. Back to you at the station, Adrian."

The Camera cuts away from the reporters in the field, replacing them with a clean-cut, suit-clad young redheaded man with a blank expression on his face.

"Well there you have it folks, our Navy is up to something big! We don't know what, but later today we'll discuss the possible ramifications of the recent Declaration of Neutrality issued by the Independent Miners Guild, and what effect it could have on Liberty!"

The male reporter gives a horrendously fake smile and nods to the camera.

"For all your news needs, stay tuned to Liberty News Network, your source for cutting edge, innovative, and nonbiased news, every hour on the hour!!"

With that, the feed cuts to commercials.
