Company Objectives
Ageira's primary objective is to further revolutionize life as we know it, be it developing amazing new technology, or building incredible things such as the Jump Gates.
Secondary objectives include maximizing profit, and bringing wealth to both the company, and Liberty.
Current and Planned Projects
Ageira always has a project underway, some known to the public, others locked away from prying eyes, only for a specific few to know about. The following is a list of a few projects, unrelated to normal gates and lanes, that are planned, or already in progress.
Excelsius Project
Further planned research and development of Jump Drive technology. Currently, the carrier Excelsius owned by Ageira Technologies has their own brand of jump drive mounted upon its frame, and is being used in various tests and exploits.
Project English Bulldog
A project that is still in its preliminary stages. Ageira is seeking to add a Bretonian Gunboat to its fleet of escorts. This is also meant to help keep relations up with Bretonia, as it will be fielded now and again to assist them against Gallia.
EDEN
Solution to human overpopulation and inefficiency.
Company Departments and Employees
There are several Departments that have various responsibilities they handle. This allows for a more efficient completion of a task, instead of having everyone doing a little bit of everything. Below you will learn what each Department, the Heads, and the CEOs do, and are capable of.
President and Vice-President
The President and Vice-President are responsible for many things within the company, but their main objective is to lead Ageira towards a prosperous future. They have the final decision in all things, and are capable of overruling the decisions of other employees. The Vice-President however, cannot overrule the President. While they can decide the direction for each Department, the President and Vice-President generally remain the final vote for important decisions, and as the faces of the company.
Research and Development
The Research and Development department is responsible for the creation of new technologies that further enhance humanity's quality of life, as well as raise the bar as to what Ageira is capable of. The Head of this department must ensure not only that development is running smoothly, but also that no information on various classified projects is leaked, or ever entrusted to employees that are in any way questionable. The Head of this department is the best and most experienced researcher Ageira has. Rumor has it there is yet another department for researching even more ambitious projects, but there is no proof of this, as if it does exists, it is kept out of sight from most, if not all employees. Research and Development employees toil away in the labs of Ageira, creating and testing everything from new weapons and engines, to trying to develop ways to further improve Lanes and Gates.
Transportation and Trade
The Transportation and Trade department is a major source of income for the company. Not only do they take contracts offered from other corporations whenever possible to bolster profits, Ageira also hauls its own materials and technology to cut out the middle man, and keep spending at a minimum. The Head of this department ensures that the most efficient routes are chosen, but also plans and develops profitable routes based on the current economic situation. A very important position indeed. Employees working under this department generally require little training, though those who do generally already have previous experience from another occupation. Employees that are going to replace others are trained in the new position if they are not already familiar with it.
Security
The strong arm of Ageira, the Security department watches over not only important convoys, ensuring that materials arrive at their destination, but also the Lanes, Gates, and other Ageira assets. Pirates beware, Ageira is not afraid to spend great amounts of money to make sure they keep making money. The Head of this department is no doubt a veteran of space combat, and is extremely trusted within the company. Various secrets are shared with them to allow them to plan defensive actions accordingly, and they are responsible in ensuring the safety of Ageira convoys and projects. Security employees are trained before they are let loose upon the world, and are quizzed multiple times on the company's rules and regulations before they are allowed to act on their own.
Treasurer
The Treasurer of Ageira Technologies is a well-read, experienced businessman and accountant. They advise the other department Heads, as well as the Presidents on the current funding for specific projects, as well if they are either losing money, or gaining money. This entails many things indeed, but it would be too long to list it all.
Engineering
The Engineering department of Ageira is responsible for the proper maintenance of ships owned by Ageira, from the smallest fighter, to the largest transport. Any modifications to a ship are performed by the engineers. The Head of Engineering helps in the planning of specially designed ships, be it heavy alterations to existing craft, or working with Research and Development to create something new before a ship is ever built.
Trainee
Trainees are unskilled, or untrusted workers, generally kept away from things vital to Ageira Technologies. They generally work labor tasks until they are fully trained in a position they are aiming for.

Transports, freighters and guns are all Bret civilian so will work at 90% core with hopefully some RP with Bowex because that's always a nice step.
I'll get to your thread as BretGov when I have time, but just going to ask here - according to the tech-chart and what I'd expect, Ageira ID will only get 10% on Bretonian Lawful tech. If you do plan on using fighters, bombers or that gunboat you're asking for, they're not going to be usable in combat.
Particularly with the diplomacy, the Saronsen-ness here shines through While I know it's not meant to be full RP or anything in this thread, Ageira is one of the biggest corporations and possibly one of the most powerful (designing, owning and making all the fancy tech, ensuring Libertonian dominance along with IC etc.) so a bit more professionalism would seem better.
