So there I was strutting my stuff in a shipyard when suddenly Admiral Igliss decided to doom my fate. A mining ship here, sure I will compete with it....but nooo... I saw the stats and my heart sank.

Now tell me, if you are an eligible parent for me (player with money) why would you adopt me when right next to me, sits a ship that is more powerful with more hull more guns and yes less price. Its like trying to sell a Lamborghini on a Suzuki lot. Aint gonna happen Chief...specially without a hefty discount.

You Decide... should I be sold for about 3 mil ? or should my cargo hold be increased a bit so I am not busting up at my seams while hauling a pea.

Well actually Kusari Explorer is a Gunboat and is 5 times smaller then Mining ship. It used to be Dragon GB but not anymore.

Little lost by the thread but yeah the Kusari explorer is a gunboat you can't compare the two it depends what your RP is gunboats are quite limited to what you can actually do with them so if it's for making money it is bad choice.

Stats are so different because the mining ship is basicly just a freighter, I can't honestly recomend it though if you want to actually use it for mining it's size defeats the purpose you would be better of with a whale or the train you already have.

If it's a combat vessel you were looking the Explorer is the stronger of the two despite less guns as it's a capship.

ok that solves it. I thought it was just another SHF kinda ship. :laugh:
Thinking why would some one buy it if it has only a 400+change cargo and is 22 mil. and a ship right next to it is so much better.

It was all in good fun.

As for being a hypocrite? I meant having a cargo capacity more intune with a ship of that price, else no one would have bought it.

As far as space is concerned, look through the forumz. Igliss has already said nothing over 5k cargo, no way no how.
