please keep in mind that there are no clans on disco but "factions". you can be in multiple factions at a time, what makes this community rather big and centralized.
And we call them factions because you can be in a
computer faction but not a player faction. Or both,
Or none at all. A "Clan" is usually made up of only people
that play together, many times other games as well,
often imported, scarcely stays, historically has trouble adapting.
But I'm being picky.
It's up to you what you want to do and be.

Freelancer seems to be a very dirverse game, I once played on Crossfire as SpAz and was the one trying to undermine everything the Vipers did overthere, although it didn't work very well, because a majority of the time DeRanGed always seemed to punt me in the face with his uncanny ability to use missles.
