He nodded and smiled with a mouthful of food. Once he swallowed it, he simply stated, "Delicious!" He paused and continued, "Getting good food out here is often difficult considering the amount of Synth Paste and rations that are brought here. Fresh stuff? That's hard to come by."
He put his utensils down and place his hands around his glass, looking at her as he did, "Listen, when both of us get a break from our crazy schedules, why don't you join me on a trip to Canaria? It's a great place and if the untamed wild is your thing well, there's plenty of it besides the capital city."
Eating a part of her fish again"Its wonderful...and yes I'd love to join you on a trip to Canaria, it sounds like a good get away from...my 'job' if you will...heh..."blushing slightly with her ending words but composes herself again
After some small talk, dinner was all but finished. Chris wasn't a dessert eater so he passed on it, opting for some after dinner coffee.
"Delicious," he exclaimed, "Let's hope the good foods keep coming in."
He then sat with his arms folded before him, "So a trip to Canaria it shall be. I just don't know when as it seems things here on Freeport 1 never seem to be quiet, especially with Bretonia around. In the mean time, we could at least meet up here more often."
He thought a moment and had a thought, "I do have some shore leave time coming to me. I'll see if I can get some."
Passing on dessert as well, still not as hungry as she was, taking her, still partly empty drink and sipping it"The trip will be nice, and yes, it would be wonderful to met up with you again here, it was a lovely dinner I must say."
