Considering he had nothing to lose now, Marcus went to find Kara on the upper levels. As he came to the docking bay, he saw her waiting for a shuttle to get ready, so he moved towards her and smiled vaguely.
"Eh, hello... ready to leave?" "Right, you again. Yes - getting ready to get back to Coronado. I assume you're doing the same?" "Yes, miss. - - -"
Although he wanted to continue, Marcus was abruptly interrupted by a guard who just came to them. The man simply saluted and stated "Ma'am, miss Kairos is requesting that you delay your flight and meet her on deck IV. She wishes you to spend some more time with her and captain Blake." Then, without a pause, he turned to Marcus and continued "As for you, sir, the captain wants you to know that you've been forgiven; not sure what he meant though."
Kara was a bit astonished by what she heard, on both topics... although she quickly snapped out and decided to go and see the Firebird. On the other hand, Marcus was happy just to know he has a chance at avoiding any reports, so he remained there, waiting to get on a flight for home.

Minutes later, the Highlander was at the door of Evelyn's quarters. She knocked and asked "Hey, you asked for me?"

She gaved her quite the request...
*Well if you need you can go at the bar and have a bit of time ti think.. but be quick we have the Liner in 2 and half hours.*
Kara entered the room and then listened to Evelyn's rather unique proposal. She was a bit dazzled at first, trying to take it all in, especially the 'soul-parent' part.
A minute-long pause ensued, then with an uneasy voice she started "That's... Well - I would be honoured to act as your soul-parent at the weeding, gal... although shouldn't there be two of us? If it wasn't that obvious - i'm no married woman, sadly. Either way, I accept, I guess we can discuss the details later." After this, she took a small moment to breathe, then continued "As for this vacation you're talking about... well... I guess it would be nice; If you say you've cleared it with the higher folks, then why not. Although... where are we going?" she finished raising her eyebrow and slightly grinning.
