As the title says, how can I change my FL ID using regedit?

I have Win 7 64 bit.

Navigate to "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Microsoft Games\Freelancer\1.0". Your current FL account ID may be found and edited in the "MPAccountName" key/entry.

EDIT: Just remember to take a copy of it first.

I don't have such directory. And I don't know what is that "1.0".

Edit: I mean, I have "Freelancer" folder, but in different place.

Start -> run -> regedit
or
Winkey + R -> regedit
or
Windows folder -> regedit.exe

Ok, found it.

So, I've entered my ID and... I have same result that I get when using any account manager: random code generated.

*throws the table*

I used to use regedit for switching accounts in the past because FLAM never ever worked for me and I didn't know about Launchpad. You need to edit two entries with the correct numbers - ID and Signature.
