There'll be nomad bases interior scenes (aka planetscape, equipment and ship dealer rooms, although bar rooms will be completely absent from their bases), hopefully to answer all those things in an actual visual way.
I did take a few cues from original concept art (including pic in first post), but don't expect exact replica by any means. I suspect the picture there was made for very early designs that portrayed nomads as bipedal humanoid creatures, which isn't the case here. Well, there are a lot of things changed from what they were in early designs and versions, so it's not surprising, but it is interesting nonetheless.
Completely custom interior scenes were my intent for a very long time, but I had only relatively recently got to actually dig through scene animation format and to make own basic toolkit. No screenies for now, I don't like to show unfinished work.
