Welcome to the Horizon Mining & Survey headquarters.

Our facilities are under construction at the moment, so the docks are currently closed to the public.

If you wish to get in touch with us, please use the HM&S Communication Terminal.

Since it's establishment in 821 A.S. this station has served as offices for HM&S and its subsidiaries.
Located in the borderworld of Omega-3, its placement was partly chosen due to the proximity of the original Freeport and partly due to the access into Bretonia and Rheinland.
Aiming to create a stable base of operations, this location allows the company to establish routes for shipping of basic commodities and is seen as an optimal launchpoint for missions into deeper space.
The station has a fully functioning shield generator and several cargo modules, but no other noteworthy facilities. It's currently undergoing interior remodelling to accomodate larger and more luxurious housing quarters, but since a gravity-field generator has not yet been installed, most of the employees and workers are currently commuting from the nearby Freeport.

Though the company continues to be affiliated with the zoners, it recognizes Bretonian rule over Omega-3, or Snowdown, and the station is fully registred in accordance with Bretonian law.
HM&S does, however, refrain from getting involved in specific politics.

These new state-of-the-art offices house around 35 secretaries and researchers. Most of the work done here consist of comparing old starmaps, sifting through the Neural Net for useful information and archiving of essential documents.

Research Facility:

Plans are on the table for a new high-tech laboratory, where scientist can do their research and experiments in a controlled environment. Up until now, the company has used a rebuilt Voyager as a mobile laboratory, but this is not seen as a viable long-term solution.
