And also, why is it so quiet in the TS? I see 2 people there all the time in 1 channel, but it looks as thought they're idling there as they've been there for hours... only 2 other people have been on the TS in hours...

Depends on timezone really
Sometimes there are lots sometimes there are little to none.
Theres usually four or more regulars on TS everyday including me.

Since diamonds are one of those commodities that is easily exchanged for currency (providing collateral for loans, propping up banks), I doubt the Kusari would ever fire them into the sun. Besides, that would just keep them toasty and warm.

It might be an idea to have an RP on one side of the fence though. My Phaethon for example is a Republican Shipping vessel whose wages are earnt moving diamonds from the holds of Bautzen through the jumphole into Dresden and up through Sigma-13 and hauling back some of that sweet sweet Niobium for the Rheinland military. No jumpholes are used in any but Rheinland space, and as it is passing through pirate hot territory (npc) using that jumphole I use the Behemoth rheinland transport. It looks tough, it has a large number of turrets and I prefer seeing its smoky engines to some white hot exhaust.

Also, running in this ship with the LWB on my tail is far more fun than if I wasn't so firmly attached to the establishment of Rheinland. Particularly while spouting nationalist propaganda and recruiting messages (general, for Rheinland industry).
