I'd like to add that he attempted to extort 3 million credits out of a trader, supposedly for artifact smuggling.

Problem: No amount of artifacts earns a three million credit fine, it's either 2 or 4 million depending on quantity. He continued to negotiate the fee with the trader, down to one million, which is as far as I know not standard procedure for fines.

Just as reported by another, this vessel attacked me for transporting diamonds from HOUSTON. Two other Navy pilots (That's right Navy, not traders) were in Manhattan orbit and spoke up that they saw me buy the diamonds in Houston and he still fired on me and demanded that I pay a fine or die. When I docked on Newark, he laughed about it and said "Enjoy in repair" about 8 times.
