This new entity to mine... think of it like Elerium from X-Com series (both old ones and the recent remake), except it'll be called something else here. It's not to be sold at any base but various places will offer very lucrative prices to buy it, additionally it will replace nomad remains as one of the 'ingredients' for cloak recipes, and perhaps will be a base material for later nomad-tech stuff to build. You'll be able to find and mine it near nomad refineries in several omicron systems, because that's the source of it. Now that latter part is what going to make it quite risky and requiring at least some protection, not to mention drawing attention from locals.

Obviously, these guys had no problem with "outsiders" coming into the Omicrons. At this point, I'd say leave the Iridium mining bonuses to the Indy Miner ID, but I still say the main way to increase activity here is to increase the sell point, kinda like they just did with Premium Scrap.
well, I need a better rate of drop. increase bonus for miner ids. the Memnon is gaining rust, as it can mine 8nly wwater.(ofc it sells hell well near the mining point, 111 creds!)
