legal rulewise. extremely frowned community wise. Most trading factions do sometimes a jump, but sometimes.... they did constantly avoiding any kind of possible interaction
Bowex needs some love, so does other factions like Kishiro, IC, DHC and gallic corporations.
Regarding Jump Trading, it is something that involves less to no pirate-trader interaction. You get your stuff, and then just teleport from one place to another with the help of a BS which has a Jump Drive. While it is advisable to avoid using it most of the times by official factions, some factions solely live due to that.

I personally don't see the problem in it because difficulty of arranging it and amount of players required means activity is generated, but eh.
Well, I quite like Bowex and Kishiro, but looking at the activity tracker made me a sad panda. If I could get in touch with their leadership to confirm they're still somewhat alive/willing to get me started on the right path, I'll just join them and bolster activity.
I'll probably have an IC somewhere and a DHC somewhere else, but they'll be independents.
