Despite yesterday, I still remember our most recent talk and I still agree that situation is not beneficial. Nevertheless you and I understand that in order to hold our patch of space, we have to answer mercyless and decisevely against unprovoked aggressions. Still, I knew since I gained command that this war cannot be won by conventional means. Not until bringing might of at least one house which with current status of Sirius is impossible feat to achieve.

However, we would be long dead if we could not achieve more with less. We have the aptitude to reverse engineer alien technology to our own use. We also have plans and contingencies. Some should never see daylight ever in history. Through let's get to the point shall we?

I need to weaponize certain device that small group of scientists built. It is named "project Black Sun" and is by-product of thousand work-hours put into research to make Thebes possible in the first place. It is highly classified and number of people that worked on this project can be counted on fingers of single hand. It will need armored shell, remote control unit and engines. You will receive exact details shortly.

Do note, we only have single prototype of it at current time and insufficient time to simply test fire one in controlled environment beforehand. We know it will get the job done but side effects are unknown to us. However affected area of considered deployment is not going to bother us too much. This will even the odds if not tip the war in our favour.

I would be honored to work on the Black Sun project. However, without more details, I cannot guarantee anything.

As you are aware, I am currently working on the NPC, but my team can handle it without my help. We are only about a week from final phase of the project.

I need more details in order to be able to tell you anything more. When I see what the project is about, then I can start making statements about time needed or material.

I cannot exactly reveal what it is. It has been set at Omega level of clearance which means only people directly associated with project and me only - as the highest ranking officer of The Order - can access. Reason for it is simple... as soon we discovered potential in this technology, we accounted for it in the "game ending" contingencies. However these days call for drastic measures and we can fire up this prototype in order to improve upon the original design.

This thing will be deployed from our research institute directly towards Omicron Minor jumphole. None of our enemies expects anything serious from that particular direction. Everyone correctly assumed we reinforced that entrance in anticipation for Nomad fleet from Toledo, which no doubt still exists. In attachment you should receive parameters needed for you to make this weapon mobile and ready to use. Deployment and use of it will be tasked to Special Operations Command operatives. Hopefuly next time we get to subject of utilizing this weapon again, I will be able to tell you more about how it works. Less people know specifics, the better.
