Greetings, Liberty. I am Jason Reynolds, your host for tonight's LBN broadcast.

We start off tonight with reports of armed conflict in the Texas system.

The LNS "Stonewall Jackson" under siege by Rheinland warships

Recently, a large force of Rheinland vessels struck key defenses around the Planet Houston. The Battleship Mississippi and members of the First and Fifth fleets as well as numerous auxiliary fleets defended Texas from the invaders, to moderate success. It is unknown where Rheinland acquired these vessels, as we all know they are currently experiencing an economic depression of unprecedented levels.

Lieutenant John Graham of the First Fleet had this to say:

"It's hard out there - we're getting hit with massive waves of Rheinland attackers daily, and it's putting a serious strain on the fleet's supply. The only thing keeping me in this is every time I fly past Houston and I think of all the civilians on that planet in the danger zone, I get focused. We'll beat these krauts, all right. Don't you worry."

Meanwhile, in the stock market:



We see a small gain from Universal, who just signed contracts in the Bretonian sector. DSE and Ageira remain strong with large gains today after reports of new mining and technological gains respectively. Interspace Commerce took a massive hit after reports that they do not have the money to finance large operations. While the CEO of IC denies this, only time will tell if this is the case.
