  • A small Science Station located in an unknown system in a Nebula owned by Flox Corp began working on Project Quaid.
    In order to destroy Rheinland's economy from the inside out Flox Corp needed a way to get in without being identified. Not only is Project Quaid a device to destroy there economy but to join the Rheinland Military as espionage agents. Project Quaid is a full head mask that imitates the wearers movements. Skin texture analysis, turns the unique lines, patterns, and spots apparent in a person’s skin into a mathematical space which allows the mask to be successful imitate with precision.
    The mask can be created through a specific process that when done wrong can cause massive explosions and release toxic gases. The mask has no limits on how it can look on the outside. A Flox Corp employee can turn into a 20 year old boy/girl or a 70 year old Vet. The mask also does not have limit on how the wearer will sound, his voice can be distorted and sound nothing like his original and can also have an accent. Funding the project was no problem not meaning that the project didn't need large sums of credits but Flox Corp had more than enough to fund it.

    Scientists aboard the un-named Research Station were given a task by Flox Corp which would allow employees to infiltrate the Rheniland Military. The scientist were quick about the project and proposed an idea. A full head mask that looked just like a human, could cover up the wearers head, imitate all moves the wearer makes, and change his voice to a completely different one.
    
    The scientist's sent there proposal to Flox Corp and waited for good news in order to begin prototypes.
    
    Flox Trentino received the project proposal on his desk. He began to look through the files and was delighted about the proposal. Flox approved the project soon after and sent all the funding to the Research station in order to begin more research and begin to produce prototypes.

    Project Quaid was a success and without much effort was able to be produced. Flox Corp never used there own employees for testing, what they did was use slave ex-military Rheinlanders for testing. The decision was a brilliant idea since there were life threatening bugs in Project Quiad.
    One which was that the mask would completely melt on the users head and would slowly melt through there head. It was a horrific view, it was so much that even the hate for Rheinlander's couldn't stop Flox Corp from feeling sympathy for the man wearing the mask. This was a bug they did not expect but were able to fix and not much after grabbed another test subject in order to begin testing again.
    Success! Everything ran smoothly, facial recognition worked like a charm. Voice distortion and accents worked flawless.
    Then once again problems came. The mask began to lag and would begin to repeat sentences twice. On this occasion the mask got stuck and the mask was unable to be removed. The only solution was to kill the subject and dispose of the subject then begin to work on the project again.

    After they began to work on fixing Project Quaid again, word came in about the Mining Station being destroyed in Humboldt. Flox Corp sent an emergency announcement to the Lab to evacuate and leave all projects and head back to Planet Erie. Before all the scientist left they activated all AI Robots on the station in order to maintain it in the time they would be gone.
    All the slaves where left on the station to continue automated tests that the AI Robots would conduct.

    After the Scientist left the Robots began to work on Project Quaid. While Flox Corp did prefer humans to Conduct research they did have hope on the AI Robots since Flox Corp themselves created them. These weren't your everyday robots, they were special Research Robots with a Next-Gen AI integrated system's.
    The robots were able to fix the project, soon they began testing again on the slaves. The robots kept finding bugs but they were able to fix them all accordingly.
    Before running the last test they had run out of test subjects. In order to do the final test, one of the robots over wrote the code on another Robot and began testing on it. Project Quaid was a success.
    
    While the project was a success the data was not recorded onto the system. So when Flox Trentino visited the old Laboratory in order to infiltrate pirate bases to find his kidnapped wife he was not aware that all bugs were patched. The mask had been a success and no longer had defects.

  Black Matter: was a substance that was created through the use of faltalithium. It was created by Flox Corp and took the form of a black liquid substance. A single drop of this compound without proper stabilization was capable of creating a singularity.
  
  
  
  
  Characteristics: The development of this compound was difficult to achieve due to an inability to stabilize it. Its noted characteristics was being an inhibitor of nuclear reactions such as those found in the fusion processes within the interior of stars. A small amount of the compound was enough to half all nuclear fusion in a star which resulted in a quantum explosion. This in turn brought about the collapse of the star which did so under its own mass and generated a powerful shock wave that was strong enough to destroy everything within a star system. Should the star be of sufficient size, this core collapse could even result in a supernova.

  Usage: Faltalithium is used to create Black Matter.
  
  Acquisition: Faltalithium is a rare element that is believed to not exist other than what was collected when a research vessel flew through nomad territory in order to find new worlds and species. But it didn't go so easy as they were intercepted by two young nomads. While the nomads where young, that didn't mean that there weapons weren't powerful. The scientist's on board the research vessel knew more about the nomads than the average human. They knew that they needed to get away, fast. The vessel turned on the emergency thrusters and headed toward an asteroid field. It was intense chase. The small asteroids kept hitting the bulky Research Vessel, they thought they were done for. They kept going through the field until they stumbled upon a small asteroid batch. The nomads began to stop shooting and began to concentrate on the rocks. The power core on board began to act strange and was only giving partial power. Scientist on board began to analyze what was going outside. Whatever those rocks were, they were stopping the nomads from shooting. An opportunity was in front of them staring at them dead in the eye. The research was equipped with advanced weaponry that Flox Corp had researched and created. They began to guide all the power from the energy core to the weapons and fired pulse weapons first. It only took one shot to each to bring there shields down. Before the nomads were able to attack again, the crew shot two torpedo's one for each nomad. They were gone. Some blue slime sort of thing began to float in space. Researchers were quick to grab the slime for research. A huge light began to come from the small batch of asteroids. A big screech followed. As if someone or something was yelling. The researchers were blinded for a moment. They began to analyze the rocks but something seemed strange. It wasn't the same, something had changed. Those asteroids had changed. The vessel was equipped with mining a single mining laser. So extracting the asteroids from space took longer than it should have. After all the asteroids were extracted the scientist began to concentrate all power to the Jump Drive. The jump drive took them back to New York. Everyone on board knew that what they had was illegal and took great precaution and smuggled the nomad remains into Planet Erie, Pennsylvania.
  
  Properties: Faltalithium is what is left from an unknown alien organism. This organism was only able to survive by sticking onto asteroids and living only on energy harvested from the local star, how they managed to survive in space as nimble as they are is unknown. When they tried to communicate with the nomads they used all there energy. As they begin to disintegrate the rock that they were attached to begins to go through a process of cessation in which it turns into Altalithium. The process is very quick and is done in less than a minute.
