Hereby follows a press release from the Bundschuh Partei and the Vereinigte Widerstandsarmee.

The Bundschuh Partei announces that they have elected Freya Eistochter as their new Vorsitzende (party leader). Elections took place earlier this week between several candidates, among them both members of armed forces of the party as well as regular Bundschuh politicians. The VWA-member Eistochter won with a convincing 37% leaving her closest rival, the now former-party leader Albrecht Noth far behind as he only got 23% of the party-members behind him.

The elections took place after VWA Oberst Erich Kluggman went missing several weeks ago and is now presumed dead. Kluggman was very popular with his peaceful yet fierce rhetoric and won a major victory in the previous elections. He however decided to give the leadership to the experienced Noth in order to focus on leading the VWA. With Kluggman gone, trust in Noth dwindled and it was decided to let new elections take place as democracy is one of the core principles of the Bundschuh.

New party leader Eistochter is known not for poetic speeches and subtlety. Unforgiving towards the enemies of the people, but also caring for those who stand with her, she however inspires with her vigor and sets an example through her actions for a just and democratic Rheinland. This she has shown before already as she had been chosen in 819 as party leader as well.

With Eistochter focusing on her new position she has appointed a new Oberst of the VWA as well. Since Kluggman's disappearance she as most experienced Kommandant had been serving as interim-Oberst. Now she has appointed a permanent successor in the form of Alexander Fuchs. While young, this former-Military pilot is experienced in combat and is expected to be very capable in leading the VWA fighters in the battle against tyranny of the Kanzler. He will now have full command of the forces of the VWA with Eistochter only advising him as she focuses on political matters.

This message has been composed and released by Public Information Office of the Bundschuh Partei.
