I've been promoted at work and found myself flying around the country and to Aussie a lot leaving me with no time to play online anymore so regrettably I'm
going to have to give away the ships I have,So rather than just a mass-deletion I
was hoping to create some sort of an event for new players of up to 8month registration (or less if that's too unfair for the newer players to be able to stand a chance against exp players) to be able to win either individual ship or group ships.
I don't have Battleships they never did it for me but predominantly cruisers, a transport a gas miner and random fighters with codes and bomber codes.
I'll list them to see if its worth an event for only new players:

Rhienland pirate Hel Cruiser Unioner ID
Corsair Praefect Cruiser
Outcast storta Cruiser
AI cruiser
Akegata transport Samura ID (but will change it before I code it for transfer)+98mill
Kamone Miner Samura ID (Again I'll change it before coding it)
Spatial VHF BPA ID with 2 Taranis 1 twilight
Rapier HF with 3 Iron Hammers 3 Asuras
Everythings fully equipped weapons and armour and random amounts of money on each.

I've deleted other ships not worth giving away, any help or advice towards creating or this event would be appreciated because deleting them seems a waste when I could see them go towards new players (not old players with newly created accounts like Hone tried to do to me once haha), I may not be online until another 24hours so I'll read and apply and go from there.
Be sad to not be apart of discovery anymore, but times change.

You could make a fancy story event? Let people write a story for the ship they want, if you like it, they get it?

What you could also do (Just as an alternative), is sell the ships and donate the money to the Angels. That way, new players would receive more help, and something they can use, and not stand there with a cruiser and have 'no clue' what they are doing.

The best thing you can do if you want to help newbies is, give them transports/miners. Maybe sell the cruisers in forums and make some serenitys with that? That would be of better help. Or maybe liquidate the assets and roam around Penny and you will randomly find a newbie or two. Or -maybe- Angels, but I don't know if Angels donate to newbies in game.

Anyway, it is upto you. Events won't attract many newbies.

we dont exactly say" hey buddy. take dollah". we encourage them to make money. however, we do undertake such works. entirely upto you.
