Greetings to whom it may concern. I'm ALG's security director, Kai Richter.

We've seen the recent re-declaration of hostilities between the Marauders and the Independent Miners' Guild.
This puts is into a bit of a difficult position. Of course, we wish to maintain our good relations with your organization. At the same time, the IMG are our closest partners and we therefor cannot refuse them our assistance.

I'll keep this short. Diplomatic relations are a complicated matter and finding an an appropriate balance requires subtle fine-tuning.

What we're proposing is the following: ALG security will not get involved in the conflict, unless we're engaged in a cooperative effort with IMG.
If ALG ships are flying together with IMG and a fight breaks out, we will intervene on their behalf.
However, if they are attacked and no ALG vessels are in the immediate vicinity, we will not bring security ships into it.

I'm sure you can appreciate our position here and will respect our stance.
