Meeting Aboard the Anubis

The Anubis, sister ship to the Isis sat in orbit over the planet, The Captain of the vessel sat in the 'lounge' area of the ship alone, at least for the moment, his gaze intently wandering about the starts, his hand rotated the glass in hand as it left a ring of moisture on the table, he awaited the arrival of his two invited guests. the hanger bays had been cleared for their arrival and a route opened for them to follow for when they arrived, preventing them from getting lost or detour, a third of the way up the walls were thin glowing strips, these surveyed every inch of the ship. In the hanger bays were statues of the encryption deity Anubis.

The cruiser Ghost Eye crawled through space towards the Anubis; her "big brother" was left to defend Akabat, the trip a short one. The smaller cruiser would slid alongside the Anubis, though this time it was packing a few AIs for cyber defense. After the last encounter with the Anubis, Namine had been upgrading the Eye's surge protectors and cyberwarfare suites to defend against the unwanted incursions.
As the airlocks connected and the hiss f pressurization echoed, Jeremy Hunter stepped into the Anubis once more.
