Ultimatum to the leaders of the Bretonian Police Authority

Just wondering, are we going to see a re-drafting of the Bretonian Laws, to try and make sure that the BPA and BAF are working by the same rules? It would be nice if our citizens could look and see all of Bretonia's Laws in one easy-to-find location.

It would be nice to have just 1 set of laws, The problem is that the BPA message dump has very out of date laws on it that was posted by the original leader of the BPA who has been gone for quite a while and was succeded by the one which originally this topic was about (hope you come back soon sel) and as such no one can change it but the Admins. So this makes it very confusing.

Also on another note It would be nice if both the baf and the BPA collected the data on all the smugglers pirates we see so we can see the re offenders ( and have some good RP with the "This is the second time you have been caught...."). Just and idea that has been discuesed.

I'll agree the laws need updating. I wrote the Bowex Contract, so I'm happy to draft any other legal stuff for you guys. If you want long-winded and bureaucratic, I'm yer man:PTalking of the Charter, the BPA still needs to sign it. I think. I'll check now.

Also, theoretically, we could share info on known Smugglers and Pirates using the Bretonian lawfuls forum. The only thing is, they use a horrible program and are a nightmare to work with (Invisionfree please!). Personally I wouldn't touch em with a barge pole.

Is the Bretonian Charter of Interstellar Law even still valid? It's policies, for example, on what can and cannot be carried into the Taus do not seem up to date with the new directives from the Defence Ministry issued in the BAF intelligence centre.

Regarding the database of smugglers and pirates, could this be a part of the idea for the Intelligence Service that Officer Paddock suggeted to me the other day?

On a side note, the Bretonia Prison Transport that you requested is now up and running, and raising funds for the BPA.

You are free to use any or all of it to simplify an better understanding of the Laws of Bretonia.

Once you get an updated version that is easy to use I would be happy to close this thread.

The Legal Codex looks good Flint. It needs a little bit of fine tuning but after that it will be fine it just needs to get the seal of approval from high command(BAF and BPA) then we can update all of the places where the rules are
