JAN 5th, Hokkaido.
Our ship had been on the run from Frankfurt for serveral days now.
The ship is now going under the cruise speed to not to attract much attention from both Kempeitai and Naval Forces. I am sure they would escort us back to the Rheinland or do something way worse to me and my crew. Hole by hole, we kept steady pace between systems. Of course, going through New Tokyo was out of question, so he are hiding calmly in the Crow Nebula. We will try running our our cloak in Shikoku.
Kusari. Republic of Kusari.
Their good relations with Kingdom of Gallia are very suspicious after all, if not interesting. Not that I liked the Imperial Kusari more.
I can't believe we made it through Sigma 13 and Honshu so far. I don't think Gas Miners Guild would be pleased with fully armed (but damaged) Military gunboat on their turf. Damages... My officer spoke about core instability, as we jumped. Perhaps an error in the database, yet...

JAN 6th, Shikoku.
RNC "Hesse" made it through Kyushu safe. We were exposed for a short period of time in Kyushu, while going between offshots of the Crow Nebula in Kyushu. It was already clear that our cloaking system is not working and is useless piece of crap. I ordered my crew to stop within nebula in the Shikoku for maintenance, however cloak is as good as scrap. We will eject it into star as soon as we'll be passing close to it. Risky manouver, but electromagnetic field of the system star should hide us for enough time.
For our safety (on a long rage), we changed our transponder into the one that looked like almost the Freelancer one. We should have trouble only, if we got into the visual range. So far, so good.

Same day, Shikoku.
As I said before, engineer agreed that cloak is crap; we get rid of it and shoot it into the sun. Not that it was needed for us, but we didn't want to push it into pirate hands. The sun-corona-dive manouver was successful, however or shields got burnt a bit. Better this than caught.
I got some sleep shortly afterwards. We should be entering the Kepler System any time. I won't do much notes on that, since we'll be sneaking between Liberty and Kusari lawfuls. God damn it, I feel like a pirate with a high bounty on my head.
Well.
This wouldn't be so far from the truth in a few days. Military hates two things: traitors and deserters. I would fall under both, sadly.

JAN 7th.
We arrived to the Liberty. I'm doing the short note before we will meet up with Liberty Navy vessel we hailed nearby Colorado Gate. My crew and I don't know what to expect from Liberty Navy, but I believe they will understand and believe my story. I don't know how many before me changed sides in this senseless war.
Senseless war. Since this war between Rheinland and Liberty began, no one is sure who shot first. Libertonian media claims it was us, yet our media claims it was Liberty. No matter who did that first, we are at war now. How they can fight two enemies at the same time, I ask myself? They fight with us, yet they support Bretonia against the Kingdom of Gallia, so GRN.
Oh yes, GRN. I can't recall when it was, but my crew heard the rumors about secret political meetings between Gallia and Rheinland. Of course, our government claimed it was not true, yet I had the feeling it was the way opposite.
Kusari is our ally. They are also claimed to be friendly to Gallia, so it would be... logical at least. Yet... I don't like this whole Gallia. Everyone hates them, because they started invading for God damn feud that is 800 years old and remembers Sol.
But how they kept themselves concealed for such huge chuck of time? Come on, they weren't small enough. Both Bretonia and Kusari were hit by their own war, yet they were injured by those fleets out of nowhere.
Kusari changed their government, to the Gallic bidding some say.
I am afraid they would force everyone to do the same. We are all afraid about that, on the deck of the "Hesse".
I am a patriot, I love my nation. But I will neither allow nor watch how the Holy Rheinland bow before anyone. My Rheinland home and heart is still beating... I want the best for my nation. We will not be bound.
Here comes the Liberty Navy. It's about now or never.
