Not so much about epeens, but I am simply wondering why the hell does my upload exceed my download around ten or so times?

Upload speeds are often dynamic, so if not many people are using it at the time, then you will be getting more performance. For example, I get 50Mb/s upload normally, but during Christmas, when everyone was uploading pictures of their ugly babbies on facebook, it was going down to .5Mb/s or worse. It might be also due to the fact that your ISP is using some cheeky tricks to for example give you as much upload speed when accessing a speedtest website or something along those lines.

Are you on cable, fibre or some kind of VDSL service?

If you're still on copper lines, it could be that the roadside cabinet or exchange hasn't adjusted your profile correctly to your signal to noise ratio. It can take a week or so for the exchange to change your profile.

If you're on Fibre, it's probably a provisioning issue. If it's just been installed, it could also be a profile issue and will take about a week to solve. I'd suggest alerting your ISP to the issue so when push comes to shove you can tell them you alerted them earlier.

What do your modem stats show? To give you a proper diagnosis...We will need modem stats, ISP, network type...etc.

I'd say it's a provisioning issue. Call your ISP and let them know. They will probably tell you to wait a week though. Are you capped or un-capped? Can you get the modem stats?
